Raised in Pearland, TX, a suburb of Houston. I accepted Christ at the age of seven at about 11:30 P.M. on Friday November 9, 1984. The following Sunday during the evening service I made a public profession of faith and on November 18th I was baptized. When I was a 15 year old high school sophomore, I began working as a state staffer for Royal Ambassador camps. It was at one of those camps that I felt God calling me into the ministry. I was not sure what part of the ministry, but I knew it wouldn't be normal...

After graduating from Pearland High School in 1996 I went on to Howard Payne University where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. Also, during my stay at Howard Payne, First Baptist Church Bangs licensed me as a minister on May 17, 1998.

After graduating from Howard Payne in May of 2000 I went on to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where I received my Masters degree in Communications in December of 2002. Then on February 22, 2004 I was ordained as a minster by SonRise Baptist Church.

A long time ago, my parents got me a small magic book. As any normal kid, I learned a few magic tricks, but put it aside after a while not thinking much of it. Somewhere along the way, I picked it back up again. It has progressively become more of an influence in my life.

I actually started putting illusions with my ministry in the spring of 1999, Bright Light Illusions was formed as a non-profit organization five years later in March 2004. I am happy to say that God has used it in a mighty way. I have had the opportunity to speak to many kids and adults. God has opened a door, and I have stepped through it. I use John 1:3-9 as the key verse in my ministry, Jesus is the Bright Light that we should follow and I try to encourage others to follow Him as I present His and my testimony through Illusions.
